Upload tells the story of a father being uploaded as a digital version of himself and investigates what eternal life in this sense means for our ‘humanness’, our identity, and our relationship with others. How is this reflected in the scenography of the opera?

We asked a couple of questions to the incredible Theun Mosk, Scenographer and Lighting Designer of Upload by Dutch National Opera. What does a scenographer do on a daily basis? How does one become a scenographer or lighting designer?
